Welcome

As some of you may be aware, teachers are still required to assess student's work in some capacity. My plan is to assess every 2 weeks or so and I would like to start this Friday, May 8th. Now, what does this look like? My goal is to limit materials going back and forth between ourselves. What I would like to ask, if possible, is for you to complete the comment card and if possible, to take pictures of your student's work and send them to me via email.

For math I have started posting some quick video lessons for each day as per the schedule I handed out. If you are behind, I will leave these videos up on this site so you can catch up if possible.

I have the answer keys available and can email them out if you would like them for Math. If possible, check the answer key and make relevant comments on the Comment Card.

For socials/science, if you could complete the Comment Card as well, that would be great. Did you do the try this? Could you not find anything? Did you do something completely different, let me know! I would love to have you take pictures of their reflections and send them to me. If that’s not an option, the comment card will suffice. The pictures would be helpful so I can see how their writing is. Are they answering questions fully? Are there lots of spelling and grammar mistakes, things along that line.

This is new to all of us and I think that this may be the best approach to assessing student's work. That being said, I am open to suggestions as well. If you think there's an easier way for us to communicate student's assessment then please let me know.
